Hackers Say They Stole FBI Agents' and Job Seekers' Private Information

A hacking group called ShinyHunters said on September 22, 2026, it broke into FBI computers and took private information on almost all agents and people who applied for FBI jobs. Reporters at 404 Media checked some of the stolen names, addresses and phone numbers and found them real. The FBI did not answer questions.
