ShinyHunters Claims FBI Breach Exposing Agents and Applicants

ShinyHunters claimed September 22, 2026 to have breached the FBI and stolen "sensitive data on almost all FBI agents and individuals who filed an application with the FBI for a job." 404 Media verified a portion of a sample containing names, addresses and phones. The FBI did not respond to comment.
