Rivian says its R2 pollutes much less, hits 2030 goal early

Rivian says its R2 Performance creates half the total pollution over its life as its 2022 R1, meeting its 2030 goal four years early. Its 2025 report adds up factory work, driving, and recycling, and finds the R2 pollutes 58% less than a similar gas-powered car.
