Amazon to Bring Space Internet to Far-Off Areas in Uzbekistan

Amazon said September 22 it will bring Leo, its fast space-based internet service working like cell towers in orbit, to Uzbekistan through UZ-SAT under an agreement, part of Uztelecom, for remote areas beyond current lines. It will add to Uztelecom coverage in 96% of communities. Leo is unlaunched, testing with staff and select business customers.
