Amazon Leo to Bring Satellite Internet to Uzbekistan via UZ-SAT

Amazon announced September 22 a distribution agreement with Uztelecom affiliate UZ-SAT to offer Leo high-speed satellite internet across Uzbekistan, focused on remote and hard-to-reach areas. Amazon said Leo will complement Uztelecom infrastructure, which reaches 96% of communities. Leo had not publicly launched and was in testing with employees and select enterprise customers.
