Four People Die in a House Fire in Bootle

Four people died in a fire at a house joined to one other house in Bootle, Merseyside, early on 22 September 2026. Crews called at 3:38am found the home badly burning. Eight firefighters searched inside and found four people who had died. Fire and police will work together to find the cause.
