Arizona lawmaker faces reelection over big tax and spending law

Rep. Juan Ciscomani, a Republican from Arizona, faces a reelection race in the 6th District over voters' views of the 'One Big Beautiful Bill,' NPR reported Sept. 22, 2026. He helped write H.R. 1, the tax and spending law signed by President Donald Trump. Wayne Schutsky reported for Morning Edition that the law is the main issue he must defend.
