
Taylor says no to using retirement savings to buy a home
Opposition Leader Angus Taylor has knocked back an idea from his housing spokesman Andrew Bragg. Bragg suggested first-home buyers could use their super — the money set aside for retirement — as backup for a home loan. Asked on 22 September 2026, Taylor said it was "not our policy". Coalition housing policy was not finalised.
