Fun fishers can keep 10 tarakihi each, anywhere in the country

People fishing for fun can take up to 10 tarakihi each anywhere in the country, Fisheries Minister Shane Jones has decided, RNZ reported. Jones said he looked at the science, catch numbers, unknowns about young fish, and effects of fishing. The Government says taking fewer fish will ease pressure and help numbers build back.
