Two Pilots Die While Fighting Fire in Yosemite Park

Two pilots with a company called Precision died Sept. 20 when their helicopter crashed while dropping water on the Dome Fire in Yosemite National Park. Officials said it fell around 3 p.m. southeast of Ostrander Lake. Their names were not shared. They were helping firefighters lowered by rope from helicopters. The FAA and NTSB, federal crash investigators, will investigate.
