Chad Gilbert, Guitar Player for Band New Found Glory, Dies at 45

Chad Gilbert, founding guitarist for pop-punk band New Found Glory, died Sept. 20 at 45. Since 2021 he was treated for a rare cancer of glands above the kidneys that had spread. In April he told People doctors found three brain tumors and diagnosed advanced gland cancer. He had brain surgery. His family said he died peacefully in his sleep.
