Lithuanian Startup Uses Thousands of Microphones to Catch Drones

A Lithuanian startup launched a network of thousands of acoustic sensors across the Baltic region on 20 June 2026 to detect Shahed drones. The system fills a real gap: in 2025–2026, decoys wasted military resources and triggered false alarms. Spreading microphones widely costs less than traditional radar and covers more ground. The real test is telling genuine drone sound from noise.
