Woman dies after hunter thought she was a deer

Walter Moorhead, 74, from Salisbury, Maryland, shot a rifle from a ground blind, a hidden tent hunters use, near Ellendale, Delaware, at about 7:40 p.m. on September 18. He thought he saw a deer. The shot hit Santos Maria Chilel Soto, 39, from Georgetown, who was walking across the field. She was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
