Why Converse Removed a Photo of Singer Karina

Converse took down an Instagram ad with aespa, a K-pop group's, star Karina holding Chuck 70 X sneakers and apologized, saying it got it wrong. Viewers said the image recalled the Ku Klux Klan, a hate group in white hoods, and lynching, racist murder. The Nike-owned company says it cleared the ad and is removing it elsewhere.
