Converse Removes Karina Ad, Apologizes Over KKK and Lynching Claims

Converse removed an Instagram ad featuring aespa's Karina and apologized, saying it got it wrong after critics said the image evoked Ku Klux Klan and lynching imagery. The photo showed Karina holding Chuck 70 X sneakers. The Nike-owned company said it cleared the image from its channels and was working to remove it elsewhere.
