Three South Korean Officers Hurt in Blast at Korea Border

Three South Korean officers were hurt Sept. 21, 2026, in an explosion in the western Demilitarized Zone, the fenced border strip between North and South Korea. South Korea's military leaders reported the injuries. Two reached an army hospital near Seoul by helicopter; the third went by ground then air. The Defence Ministry said the cause is still unknown.
