Atlanta Reporter Sent Away After Months Locked Up

Reporter Mario Guevara was sent to El Salvador after over 100 days locked up, mostly alone. Award-winning Salvadoran ran an Atlanta outlet in Spanish for nearly 20 years and was arrested reporting on a June 2025 'No Kings' protest, leaving his wife and children in the US. US immigration officials say they did not punish him for being a reporter.
