Lib Dems want cheaper petrol for three months

The Liberal Democrats want petrol and diesel to cost 10p less per litre for three months by cutting fuel tax. The £2bn plan was to be explained by leader Ed Davey at the party conference in Brighton. It comes after the government kept the temporary cut, started in 2022, until year's end.
