Davey wants 10p off petrol and diesel tax until Christmas

Sir Ed Davey, leader of the Liberal Democrats, will on Tuesday call for 10p a litre to be taken off petrol and diesel tax until Christmas. He said high prices at the pump reflected what he described as Trump's war with Iran. He said the £2bn bill would be paid from extra energy and sales tax income.
