Davey to call for 10p fuel duty cut until Christmas

Liberal Democrat leader Sir Ed Davey is expected to call on Tuesday for fuel duty to be cut by 10p a litre until Christmas. He said high petrol and diesel prices reflected what he described as Trump's war with Iran. He said the £2bn cost would be met from extra energy and VAT receipts.
