Police Break Up Violent Protest About Immigration in the Netherlands

Dutch police broke up an anti-immigration protest in The Hague's Malieveld park on September 19, 2026. About 500 people joined the far-right group 'Wij zijn het volk,' meaning 'We are the people.' Officials banned a march and told the crowd to leave. Some threw stones, bottles and powerful fireworks. Officers responded with batons, like heavy sticks, and dogs.
