Dutch Riot Police Break Up Violent Anti-Immigration Protest in The Hague

Dutch riot police broke up a far-right 'Wij zijn het volk' ('We are the people') rally of about 500 in The Hague's Malieveld park on September 19, 2026. Protesters threw stones, bottles and heavy fireworks at officers, who responded with baton charges and dogs. The rally opposed Dutch immigration policies. Authorities banned a planned march, then ordered dispersal.
