Scottish politician thought of ending life over constant face pain

Scottish Green politician Cara McKee said she thought about ending her life because of constant face pain from trigeminal neuralgia, which causes severe pain in the face. The BBC reported her story on 18 September. Ms McKee, who represents West Scotland in the Scottish Parliament, said she has since had an operation on her brain.
