New stalking law used 140 times, no one convicted yet

Police have charged people 140 times under New Zealand's new stalking law since May, RNZ reports. Figures from the Ministry of Justice show 19 cases have ended in court, all dropped before trial, with no one found guilty. Stalking can be punished by up to five years in prison.
