140 stalking charges laid since May, zero convictions recorded

Police have laid 140 charges since New Zealand's stalking law took effect in May, according to RNZ. Ministry of Justice figures show 19 charges have been finalised, all withdrawn, with no convictions recorded. The offence carries up to five years in prison.
