Liberal Democrat MP arrested

Cameron Thomas, a Liberal Democrat MP, was arrested by Gloucestershire Police on Wednesday night. His party has suspended his whip—stopping him from voting with them in Parliament—while police investigate. The police have not said what he is accused of. He remains an MP but cannot vote with his party.
