Newfoundland and Labrador debates 50-year power share with Quebec

Premier Tony Wakeham started four days of debate in Newfoundland and Labrador's legislature — its elected assembly — on a proposed 50-year plan to share Labrador power with Hydro-Québec, Quebec's power company. Members will vote on the draft. If they say yes, negotiators hope to finish final deals by year-end.
