Australia will stop most students from abroad from automatically bringing relatives, Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke said. Still allowed: students already in Australia, students from Pacific and Southeast Asia, and PhD students — top degree holders. The limit is part of tougher visa rules for foreign students, repeat short-stay holders and backpackers to lower immigration.
