Pubs won't need taxi licence for vans

The Government will drop taxi-style fees and licence rules for pub vans that take customers home. Regulation Minister David Seymour said pubs that charged for rides were treated like taxi companies. Transport Minister Chris Bishop said it would help customers get home safely. The change will be in place by mid-2027.
