Parliament says yes to India trade deal

Parliament approved the trade deal with India on 16 September 2026. It cuts taxes on goods traded between them. Labour voted for it with the Government, RNZ reported. New Zealand First voted against, with the Greens, Te Pāti Māori and two MPs outside a party. Both countries must sign it off before it starts.
