Canada Won't Join the EU

Canada won't join the European Union, Prime Minister Mark Carney said. The EU is 27 European countries acting as a team. Visiting Strasbourg and Liverpool Sept. 15-17, he will speak to its lawmakers and seek a special safety and trade deal with Europe. A Canada-EU leaders' meeting is set for Oct. 29-30 in Canada.
