Google Lets Other AI Helpers Run Your Smart Home

Google opened early testing on September 16, 2026, for a Model Context Protocol connection for Google Home, like a universal plug for AI helpers. Claude, ChatGPT, Hermes, OpenClaw and Google Antigravity can run devices and review recent activity. It requires a Google Cloud project, helper setup, and user sign-in with permission.
