Quebec voters to get reminder cards in French and English

A Quebec Superior Court judge ordered Élections Québec, the province’s election office, to mail voting reminder cards in French and English for the Oct. 5 provincial election. That pauses the French-only mailing rule under Bill 96, the province’s French-language law, for these cards. The cards name candidates and where to vote. They go out the week of Sept. 28.
