Georgia Delays Execution to Consider Past Abuse

Stacey Humphreys, 53, will not be put to death Wednesday at 7pm EDT near Jackson after a judge late Tuesday ordered a pause. Found guilty of intentionally killing Cyndi Williams and Lori Brown in 2003, he will get a hearing under Georgia's new Survivor Justice law, which allows a new punishment if abuse he suffered led to the crimes.
