Georgia judge halts Humphreys execution for Survivor Justice hearing

Stacey Humphreys, 53, will not be executed Wednesday at 7pm EDT near Jackson after a judge late Tuesday granted a stay. Convicted of malice murder in the 2003 killings of Cyndi Williams and Lori Brown, he will get a hearing under Georgia's new Survivor Justice law, which allows resentencing if crimes are tied to suffered abuse.
