Breville toaster browns bread by color, not time

Breville's Eye Q toaster browns bread by watching its color, not by running a timer, which Engadget called the world's first color-based toaster. Small light sensors check the slice 10 times per second and stop at one of seven shades you pick. A motor lowers the bread, so there is no push-down lever.
