Russia to Hold First Parliament Vote Since Ukraine War Began

Russia will elect its parliament, called the State Duma, Sept. 18-20, the first vote since its full invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Voting lasts three days to pick a ninth group replacing the eighth. I see the timing as a window into pressures at home as Moscow plans what comes next in the war, not as deciding it.
