Human Remains Found in Grand Canyon After Flood

Workers at Grand Canyon National Park found human remains Sept. 14 near Crystal Rapids, fast rough water on the Colorado River. It was more than two weeks after a sudden Aug. 29 flood in Bright Angel Canyon. The remains went to the Coconino County medical examiner, the office that identifies bodies. Park officials have not named the person.
