Human Remains Found in Grand Canyon Weeks After Flash Flood

National Park Service personnel recovered human remains Sept. 14 near Crystal Rapids on the Colorado River in Grand Canyon National Park, more than two weeks after an Aug. 29 flash flood in Bright Angel Canyon. The remains were sent to the Coconino County Medical Examiner. The Park Service has not identified them.
