Harper says Canada needs to depend less on the U.S.

Former prime minister Stephen Harper said in Toronto on Sept. 15 that Canada must depend less on the United States. Speaking at the Canada Investment Summit, he said Washington sees doing a lot of business together as conflicting with Canada running its own affairs, calling that 'sad.' Canada has 'no choice,' he said.
