UK Plan: Bosses Must Meet Workers Before Saying No to Flexible Hours

UK bosses could not just say no to flexible work, like changed hours or working from home. Senior minister Louise Haigh said on 15 September 2026 at the TUC conference in Brighton they must meet the worker, think it through and explain a no. All UK workers can already ask for it and bosses must consider it fairly.
