SpaceX aims to send giant Starship around Earth Sept. 22

SpaceX plans to launch Starship on Sept. 22 in its first try to circle Earth, Space.com reported Sept. 15. The rocket has two parts: Starship spacecraft on top and Super Heavy booster below for lift. SpaceX says the system can fly like a plane, and is designed to carry crew, cargo and over 100 metric tonnes of weight to orbit.
