SpaceX plans first Starship orbital attempt on Sept. 22

SpaceX plans to launch Starship on Sept. 22 in a first attempt to reach orbit, Space.com reported Sept. 15. The vehicle combines the Starship spacecraft and Super Heavy booster. SpaceX says the fully reusable system is designed to carry crew, cargo and more than 100 metric tonnes to orbit.
