Former Alberta leader says leaving-Canada vote is hurting conservatives

Former Alberta premier Jason Kenney says the United Conservative Party's Sept. 14 loss in Calgary-Shaw, a Calgary district, warns the Oct. 19 vote on leaving Canada is pushing away conservatives who want to stay in Canada. That could help the NDP, the opposition, win the Oct. 18, 2027 provincial election and help the federal Liberals win more Alberta seats.
