Kenney links UCP Calgary-Shaw defeat to separation referendum risk

Former Alberta premier Jason Kenney says the United Conservative Party's Sept. 14 loss in Calgary-Shaw warns that the Oct. 19 separation referendum is alienating pro-Canada conservatives. He said the debate could help the NDP win the Oct. 18, 2027 provincial election and help federal Liberals win more Alberta seats.
