Los Angeles Says Son Accused of Killing Parents Won't Face Execution

Nick Reiner will not face execution, Los Angeles County's chief prosecutor Nathan Hochman said Sept. 15, 2026. Reiner is charged, but not yet found guilty, of stabbing his parents Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner to death in their Los Angeles home in December 2025. The harshest remaining punishment is life in prison with no way out.
