FBI Chief Explains Change to Job Rules

FBI leader Kash Patel told a Senate hearing checking on the FBI on Sept. 15, 2026, the agency stopped instantly rejecting job seekers over past bestiality, or sex with animals. Patel said trafficking victims forced into those acts had lost jobs. Senator John Kennedy said the change hurt how people see the FBI.
