Gillian Gilbert, who plays piano-like keyboards for the band New Order, said on 15 September 2026 in an Instagram post that she has cancer and is getting treatment. She explained her husband Stephen Morris is healthy, clearing up his Rolling Stone interview about a "pretty serious" health problem, and asked for privacy. She had successful breast cancer treatment in 2007.
