New Order keyboardist Gillian Gilbert announced on Instagram on 15 September 2026 that she is living with cancer and undergoing treatment. Responding to husband Stephen Morris's Rolling Stone interview about a "pretty serious" health problem, she clarified Morris is well and asked for privacy. She was successfully treated for breast cancer in 2007.
