
Canada Looks for New Friends in Europe During U.S. Trade Fight
Canadian leader Mark Carney visits Strasbourg and Liverpool Sept. 15-17 to seek closer teamwork with the European Union, a group of European countries, during Canada's trade fight with the United States over taxes on goods. He will meet EU lawmakers about business, money, and safety. Carney says Canada does not want to join the EU, but wants a 'unique alliance.'
